Combine the adventures at a Tiger reserve and Asia’s largest bird sanctuary while you explore the Golden Triangle.
Arrive and depart from Delhi (international flights can be arranged)
Upon arrival at the airport in Delhi, you will be met by our representative, assisted through formalities and transferred to your hotel.
After breakfast, proceed for a combined sightseeing of Old and New Delhi including a visit to Jama Mosque and drive past the Red Fort. Later drive past India Gate, Parliament House and President’s House. Also visit Humayun’s Tomb and Qutab Minar during the sightseeing tour. Overnight at your hotel. (B)
Drive to Agra. Agra, with its laid – back lifestyle and its immense wealth of architecture, handircafts and jewellery is amongst the most remarkable cities in the world. After lunch proceed for sightseeing tour of world famous Taj Mahal – built by emperor Shahjahan for his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. Also visit Agra Fort – an impressive cluster of Palaces, Fort and Mosques on the Banks of river Yamuna across the Taj Mahal. Overnight in Agra.
Drive to Bharatpur bird sanctuary. In the evening, enjoy a rickshaw tour of the sanctuary to view a variety of migratory birds including the rare Siberian crane. Overnight in Bharatpur.
After breakfast, drive to Ranthambore. Situated in south-west Rajasthan, where the Vindhayas and the Aravalli Hills, the Ranthambore National Park is bound by the rivers Chambal, in the south and Banas in the north. Characterized by rocky plains, flat hill tops, gentle slopes and precipitous cliffs, covered by the dry deciduous forests. Overnight in Ranthambore.
Today, enjoy a full day park safari. The park provides a fine habitat for sambhar, there are also a few leopards, nilgai, sloth bear, jackal, crocodile, the occasional rare caracal and about 300 species of birds. Return to your hotel. Overnight in Ranthambore.
In the morning, enjoy another Tiger safari. Later drive to Jaipur. Check into your hotel. The city capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur, in the tone of an autumnal sunset, literally blushed pink when prince Albert, the consort of Queen Victoria, stopped on it soil in 1883. The Palaces and forts of yesteryears that were witness to royal processions and splendor are now living monuments, accepted quite naturally into the lifestyles of the people of the Pink City. Overnight in Jaipur. (B)
Morning sightseeing tour by first driving through the Pink – rose residential and business areas of the Pink City. Visit to Amber Fort. In the afternoon, proceed for city sightseeing, visiting the Maharaja’s City Palace which now houses a museum containing rare manuscripts, fine specimens of Rajput and Mughal miniature paintings and weapons. Astronomical Observatory – a few first accurate observatory in Indian – sub continent of the 15th century. Overnight in Jaipur.
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi. Arrive and enjoy some time at leisure. (B)
Say goodbye to India and transfer to the airport for your return flight.
