Welcome to Indonesia! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by our representative, and transferred to your hotel. En route, visit Prambanan temple, the temple of the “slender virgin” which also known as complex of Lorojongrang, consist of 3 major temples/shrines in the main area dedicated to respected Hindu’s Tri Murti trinity such as Candi Shiva Mahadeva, Candi Brahma & Candi Vishnu. Enough time is given to stroll and observe the beautiful carvings and the neighborhood shrines such as Candi Plaosan and the Candi Sewu. Enjoy some time at leisure. Overnight in Yogyakarta.

After breakfast, start your day with a tour through the city. See the Kraton (Sultan Palace) walking over the remains of the past centuries, you will understand the history of this artistic city. Up to now, Kraton still serves as the Sultan Palace. Continue to Kota Gede, which has been famed as the hub of Yogyakarta’s silver industry since the 1930’s. You will visit the busy silver workshops to watch the process. After lunch, see the most spectacular and world’s biggest Buddhist monument complex Borobudur; built around 800 A.D. Looming out of a patchwork of bottle-green paddies and swaying palm tops, this colossal Buddhist relic is one of the continent’s marvels. Climb up to the top and enjoy a wonderful view on the Menoreh Mountains. Enough time is given to stroll around the complex and to discover its beauty. Afterwards, continue to visit the nearby located temples such as Pawon Temple and Mendut Temple. Return to your hotel. (B)

After an early breakfast, start the day an early scenic train ride to Jombang. Along the way you will discover picturesque landscape and pass local villages. Arrive in Jombang and continue by car to Tosari for about 3 to 4 hours with stops. In the afternoon we arrive in Bromo. Overnight at your hotel. (BL)

Very early morning depart to Penanjakan, one of the most spectacular landscapes in the world. Leaving the hotel by jeep then we reach Penanjakan witnessing the beautiful sun rise (if weather permit). The trip continues to cross the sand-sea to get to the feet of mount Bromo. The spectacular view of the range of volcanoes (Bromo, Batok and Semeru) is unveiled along with the rise of the morning sun (horse ride option available). Afterwards drive back to the hotel for breakfast and short refresh then directly drive to Surabaya airport to catch your flight to Denpasar Bali. Upon arrival in Bali, you’ll be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Ubud. (B)

Your day will start with the famous Barong and Kris Dance show. It describes the eternal struggle between good (Barong) and evil (Rangda) and ends with a scene where the kris dancers fall into a trance an try to kill the demon Rangda. Then proceed to Celuk, the center of exquisite silver works and Mas, known for its fine woodcarvings, before visiting the holy spring of Tirta Empul, surrounded by a large shrine to honor the God Indra. Our next stop is Kintamani with breathtaking views over the caldera lake of Danau Batur. Going down the hill, pass the greeneries of Tegallalang with its stunning rice field view then lastly stop at one of Ubud’s art galleries before returning to your hotel. (BL)

After breakfast, depart for the rural heartland of Bali, which presents an altered landscape and an interesting history. Your first stop is Pura Taman Ayun, founded by the King of Mengwi in the 17th century. It has three ascending levels of spacious courtyards containing rows of shrines and pavilions and is surrounded by a wide moat. The next stop will be Lake Bratan, a crater that lies serenely in the midst of an elongated valley which was formed centuries ago. A small temple called Pura Ulun Danu Bratan to honour Dewi Danau, goddess of the lake, can be seen on the lake promontory. Stroll along Candi Kuning market, where local fruits, vegetable and flowers are sold. After lunch, the trip continues through breathtaking valleys of rice paddies near Jatiluwih to visit Pura Luhur Batukaru Temple, in dense jungle near the peak of Gunung Batukaru, Bali’s second highest mountain. The ancient temple complex has a number of separate sanctuaries joined by damp mountain paths, bubbling spring and large rectangular lake with a shrine in its midst. Return to your hotel for overnight. (BL)

Today drive south to your hotel in Jimbaran or Seminyak or Nusa Dua. Enjoy some time at leisure. Overnight at your restort. (B)
