Itinerary

Day 1 SaturdayCasablanca

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Casablanca Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 2 SundayCasablanca / Rabat / Tangier

After breakfast, you will start your panoramic tour of this important dynamic city of Casablanca where you will see the Royal Palace and the Mohamed V Square. In the afternoon, you will continue to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, set in a rich colored landscape. Your sightseeing will continue with the impressive Mohamed V mausoleum, the Kasbah of Oudayas, Hassan Tower, and walls of the Mechouar which surrounds the royal palace. Continue to Tangier for overnight. (BD)

Day 3 MondayTangier / Chefchaouen / Fez

After breakfast, visit of Tangier and its surroundings including the Spartel Cape and the Hercules caves. Here, you will get an exceptional view of the strait of Gibraltar and the Atlantic Ocean.
Visit the Kasbah district and continue to the old Medina with its local craftsman shops and the magnificent Minaret, looking over the sea. Continue to the famous blue city of Chefchaouen with its cobbled medina, absorbing the Moorish and Spanish ambiance and architecture. Admire the striking blue-and-white houses. Continue to Fez for overnight.

Day 4 TuesdayFez / Midelt / Erfoud

After breakfast, spend the day touring the Holy City of Fez which is the oldest of the Imperial cities. You will visit the medieval Medina and religious Islamic centers which include Medersas, Karaouine Mosque and the Nejjarine Fountain.
After your visit of Fez, drive to Erfoud via the mountains and the cedar woods of the middle Atlas Mountains. You will pass by Ifrane, a charming ski station and Azrou, an important handicraft centre. Continue through Midelt, Errachidia, and the Ziz valley with its palm groves before arriving in Erfoud. Overnight at your hotel. (BD)

Day 5 WednesdayErfoud / Rissani / Tinghir / Ourzazate

In the morning, you may like to embark on an optional jeep safari to witness the sunrise of Merzouga. Continue to Rissani, the holy city where Moulay Ali Cherif, ancestor of the Alaouite dynasty is buried. Visit a kasbah of the 17th century and the Ksar Abbar ruins with its crumbling towers. Stop in Tinghir for walk through the Todgha canyons. Drive to Ouarzazate via the road of a thousand kasbahs and the Dades Valley. Stop to visit the Taourirt Kasbah rich with history. Overnight at your hotel. (BD)

Day 6 ThursdayOuarzazate / Ait Ben Haddou / Atlas / Marrakech

After breakfast, leave Ouarzazate in the morning for your drive to Marrakech. En route, visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the best preserved Kasbah in Morocco and under UNESCO protection. It has been the setting of many famous movies including the Gladiator. Also visit the Ouarzazate film studio to see more international film settings. Drive through the high Atlas mountains with its diverse terrain, climates and wildlife, dotted with Berber villages and riven with canyons and ravines. Stop in the Tich’n’Tichka pass before your arrival in Marrakech. Overnight at your hotel. (BD)

Day 7 FridayMarrakech

After breakfast, take a full day sightseeing of Marrakech, the “pearl of the south” founded by the Almoravides Dynasty at the end of 12th Century. Start with the Majorelle Garden with its French-influenced architecture and its intriguing history with the iconic French designer Yves Saint Laurent. A visit to his famous Museum featuring his artworks is included.
Visit the Menara Garden, the Koutoubia Minaret, and the Bahia Palace. You will also discover the winding souks of Marrakech with its multi colored wools and the Djemaa El Fna square where you can enjoy some traditional Moroccan tea on your own. Return to your hotel for overnight. (BL)

Day 8 SaturdayMarrakech / En Route (or extend your stay)

Say goodbye to Morocco and transfer to the airport for your flight. You may like to extend your stay in Morocco with a few more nights enjoying the enchanting city of Marrakech. (B)
